Healthy Breakfast; Green Tea Facial.

The best way to achieve great skin is through the foods you eat.
Here I made; (clockwise) green tea, yogurt, steel cut oats, fruit (strawberries & cantaloupe), & eggs.

Green tea is known to be good for your body and your skin. It stops inflammation, stops DNA from being damaged, and stops the sun from burning the skin. It contains EGCG, which is a powerful anti-oxident. Anti-oxidents fight off free radicals, which cause damaging of the skin, aging, and illness.

Yogurt is loaded with nutrients like, iodine, zinc, calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, protein, and many others. Zinc is especially good for treating acne, and just plain good for your skin.

Steel cut oats are not cooked and rolled flat, unlike regular oatmeal, so they maintain all of their nutritional value. I sprinkled some brown sugar on mine to sweeten it up and make it extra yummy!

Strawberries have a high concentration of vitamin C. And are equipped with anti-oxidents to also fight off free radicals.

Cantaloupe is also a good source of vitamin C, and increases anti-oxidents in your body.

Eggs also have vitamins A and E that help with general cell growth and absorbing free radicals.

After drinking all of my green tea, I took the tea bag, without draining the remaining water from it, and I rubbed it all over my face. After wetting my face, I split open the bag and rubbed the tea leaves on my face. (Since my face was still wet from the green tea, the leaves had something to stick to.) I let it dry, and then exfoliated as I rinsed the tea leaves off of my face. My face felt extremely soft afterwards.
