Sprayology Oral Sprays

I just recently purchased SleepEase from Sprayology because I've been having such a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep at night. I'm actually really impressed with the results of their product. If you haven't heard of Sprayology, they make "herb, vitamin, and mineral based oral sprays designed for specific ailments or for general health improvement." (You can read more about their products in their FAQ page.) I would suggest this product for people who one, do not like taking pills, and two, want a natural sleep aid. I'm so happy with the results of this product, and I plan on trying some of there other oral sprays. When I do, I will definitely update on those too!

K-Palatte 1 Day Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner

First of all, I have found the holy grail of liquid eyeliner! This stuff is amazing in so many ways:
  • Great for greasy eyelids
  • Smudge proof and Tear proof
  • Comes off easily with warm water
  • Micro-Fibre brush for precise application
  • Good for sensitive eyes
There may be some great liquid eyeliners out there, but I swear this trumps them all. This is the perfect eyeliner for that precise cat eye look that a lot of girls love (including me!). If you haven't tried this eyeliner yet, I highly suggest it.

Stronger Nails

For the people out there, like me, that have brittle nails that will not grow, and do not have the time for proper up keep that nails require, I would suggest Mane 'n Tail Hoofmaker lotion. I got mine from Sally Beauty Supply. I've tried using nail creams and the nail polishes, but I can never remember to use them everyday for them to work properly.

Using this lotion is so much easier. I just keep it in my purse and use it when my hands are dry, which is everyday from washing my hands all the time. So if you are tired of your brittle nails, then I definitely suggest buying this today!

Healthy Breakfast; Green Tea Facial.

The best way to achieve great skin is through the foods you eat.
Here I made; (clockwise) green tea, yogurt, steel cut oats, fruit (strawberries & cantaloupe), & eggs.

Green tea is known to be good for your body and your skin. It stops inflammation, stops DNA from being damaged, and stops the sun from burning the skin. It contains EGCG, which is a powerful anti-oxident. Anti-oxidents fight off free radicals, which cause damaging of the skin, aging, and illness.

Yogurt is loaded with nutrients like, iodine, zinc, calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, protein, and many others. Zinc is especially good for treating acne, and just plain good for your skin.

Steel cut oats are not cooked and rolled flat, unlike regular oatmeal, so they maintain all of their nutritional value. I sprinkled some brown sugar on mine to sweeten it up and make it extra yummy!

Strawberries have a high concentration of vitamin C. And are equipped with anti-oxidents to also fight off free radicals.

Cantaloupe is also a good source of vitamin C, and increases anti-oxidents in your body.

Eggs also have vitamins A and E that help with general cell growth and absorbing free radicals.

After drinking all of my green tea, I took the tea bag, without draining the remaining water from it, and I rubbed it all over my face. After wetting my face, I split open the bag and rubbed the tea leaves on my face. (Since my face was still wet from the green tea, the leaves had something to stick to.) I let it dry, and then exfoliated as I rinsed the tea leaves off of my face. My face felt extremely soft afterwards.

Meet the Trio!

Tucker
Lucy
Nolan

These are my babies! Me and my boyfriend Adam adopted Tucker first, two summers ago from a ferret shelter. He's around 5 years old! He's definitely the most affectionate out of the three. Next was Lucy. She was an unplanned purchase from a pet store :) We never planned on having more than one, but I couldn't resist; she was so cute! She is about 9 months old now. She's such a lady. And Finally there is Nolan. I couldn't resist his cuteness either! He was so small he fit in the palm of my hand :D Shortly after we got him we noticed he was sick. But after a hefty vet bill, he's much better and has grown so much!!
They are all so fun and hilarious. Each have their own unique personalities. I love them and wouldn't trade them for the world! ^_^

New Vintage Vanity.

I just bought this vintage 1930s vanity along with this chair today. It's sooo cute! I plan on getting a mirror to hang on my wall over it, but for now I have a small makeup mirror to sit on the desk. I also need to change the knobs and get a cushion for the chair. I'm thinking fake crystal or rose knobs to replace the current ones, and a cushion to match the lamp shades! Speaking of, I think the lamps look really good on each end (I got them from target). And yes, that's a Darth Vader alarm clock. I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd :)!

Although I have my laptop set on it, it really isn't the best to double as a vanity and a desk, since I can hardly put my legs under the middle piece. Buuuuut I still love it! It's perfect for storing all my makeup supplies and other miscellaneous things :)

eSalon: Custom Formulated Haircolor Review

So I've been seeing ads for eSalon online lately. I watched their youtube videos, and checked out their website, so i decided to try it out. If you don't know about them, they let you try their custom haircolor for free the first time. In the free trial you get color and developer, personalized instructions, a brush, a bowel,  clips, a cape, and many other accessories to make hair coloring easy. After the free trial you can either cancel your account or you can schedule your haircolor to automatically be sent to your house every 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 weeks.

When you go to esalon.com and click on the "customize now" button, it takes you through a questionnaire with questions like, what is your natural hair color? What coloring treatments are currently on your hair? And how does your hair take haircolor? They also ask your ethnicity, eye color, length of hair, and what color you want your hair to be. Based on your answers, a professional colorist formulates your hair color and devises instructions personalized for your hair.

I couldn't quite put a finger on what color my dyed hair actually was. I said it was a medium blonde copper color according to their swatches, but I think it may have actually been a dark blonde copper color. So in turn i didn't exactly get the results I wanted. But I'm not dissatisfied either. My hair is a lighter copper color in natural light, but looks more blonde under artificial light. I like the color but it's not the "warm beige" blonde I was hoping for.

I was really impressed with the way they packaged everything, and all the stuff they give you for free!
